Seller: redmark8955 (105) 100%, Location: WESTCLIFF-ON-SEA, Essex, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 263038864391 Scottish 8 day, calendar Longcase Grandfather clock made around 1760, striking bell. Made from mahogany, the case features a "Belly door" in the trunk and a flat top hood. The case is in good condition with no woodworm or damage just obvious age related marks. the face is white with Roman numerals, has second hand inner dial and 31 day calendar. No makers name no the face as I have been told that the face is original and has faded away. It was my fathers and he had it restored over 20 years ago, recently serviced and new cables installed, was working everyday until he got ill. I now have it in my flat but is far to large to have here. Works perfectly well and keeps good time. it does have part of the supplying companies label on the inner door of G Braye of London. I am sorry but really don't know much more about it. Will require professional removal as it cost me £70 just to have it moved and installed into my flat. Collection only. Any questions please ask. 07391 625117 Regards Mark Age: Antique, Pre-1900, Type: Longcase/ Grandfather Clock, Features: 8-Day
