Double Drawn Hair Vs. Single Drawn Hair

Single drawn hair is drawn once from the source and then placed on the wefts as a whole. This is the most common type of extensions sold in the market. Hair strands may not be of the same length, so single drawn hair ends up having shorter hairs along the way.

They say that 2 inches are the standard deviations of hair lengths, which means that if you choose 24" hair extensions, it may have strands that are 22" or 26" - but most of the time the hairs are even shorter. When you buy 24" sometimes only a few strands are actually 24 inches. We think this beats the purpose of buying long hairextensions.

Single drawn hair tips are thin, making it look straggly, the top is also thicker than the bottom. Most women trim two inches off the hair to solve the problem. These hairextensions are cheaper compared to double drawn extensions.

On the other hand, double drawn hair undergoes a second process of selection - making it more superior in comparison.
