Beautiful and scarce late Victorian toast rack made by the world famous Royal Worcester factory
Fabulous porcelain blue and white Willow pattern tile set within a silver plate metal frame.
Frame stamped 7982 plus W or M letter stamped on one inner foot
Made in 1881 with date cypher 'S' to base under Worcester backstamp
Wonderfully ornate decorative winged lion paw feet to each corner with flower heads either side.
Silver plate had not been cleaned for many years

6¼ inches long x 6¾ high x 3¾ wide
Tile depth is 4 or 5 mm
Condition : No chips or cracks to tile. Most of the silver plating has worn off from the arches and handle but it is perfectly possible to have it re-plated. Tile has slight worn surface mark to glaze top, towards one end. Some glaze crazing to one side edge underneath, see photos.
