Seller: ajwtilstock (3,677) 100%, Location: Whitchurch, Ships to: GB, Item: 112556363201 A handsome small mid 18th century oak cased 8 day longcase clock, this beautiful clock has good colour and patina. It has a 12" brass square dial with silvered Roman numeral chapter ring and a second hand with date aperture, with superb brass spandrels, it also has top quality brass covered weights which is quite unusual for a provincial longcase and shows its quality fully restored at great expense ready to give you a life time of telling elegant time. This fine longcase is a very good size for low beamed cottages being only 197 cm high! The case is of nice quality with good English oak timber of fine colour and great patina. This fine clock is in very good condition for a clock of this age. It strikes the numbers on the hour with a quite delightful chime on a bell. This is a antique and as such will have marks commemorative to its age! Postage should cost the buyer around £100.00, Cornwall & Scotland will be more! We are in Shropshire NOT Hampshire!
