Seller: dawnied46 (3,161) 100%, Location: Marlborouogh, Wiltshire, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 232863913824 An interesting veneered bracket clock. I think it is walnut. The clock is in a worn cosmetic condition and in need of a complete overhaul. Cleared from an old clock shop, left sitting for years. Cleaned a bit to photograph. A nice small size for a wall bracket or mantel shelf.Neat clip mechanism for the bezel, there is no glass in it. The wood has a good colour. Veneer needs repair It is 7.5" wide 9.5" tall and 4.5" deep. All approx. The movement looks of a decent quality, and it runs. The top wheel on the right is the strike wheel which works ok. The two lower, smaller, wheels were stops to prevent over winding. But the two little pinion gears that go on the posts next to them are missingSo they do not work at the moment. There is no pin to hold the hands in place I have had it running for a couple of days and the strike mechanism works. It has repair notes on the back starting in 1882.Plus other later notes. A new pendulum in 1952. Also a retailer`s labelIt has an original key Please have a good look at the pictures and email if you need to know moreBeing sold as in need of a complete overhaul. Condition: Good original condition, ready to restore. Interesting 30 hour movement., Age: Antique, Pre-1900, Material: Wood, Clock Type: Bracket Clock, Style/ Origin/ Theme: Victorian, Type: Bracket Clock, Features: 30-Hour
