She's owned this for 3 years and used it as her own car but had the A-frame conversion professionally fitted to tow behind her motorhome. She no longer has a need to tow this when she does use the motorhome so I've got her a different car and this is available for sale. Even if considering this car with no need to use the A-Frame, the car can be used daily just like any other car. It's very economical (60+ MPG) and it is the more sought after 1.5 diesel model. There are 2 mounting points at the front of the car that attach to the A-frame - other than this, you wouldn't know the difference. Everything is included thats needed if you do want to tow it away! The cost of the conversion is in excess of £1,000. When towing the car it will use the cars own brake lights, indicators etc and uses the cars brakes so it doesn't push your vehicle when braking. It includes a locking tow ball so it can be locked together for security, jockey wheel and a special number plate mount where you can quickly swap the number plate of the smart car to the number plate of the main vehicle. It really is a smart solution that requires nothing to be strapped to the back of the car which will bang about or anything. My mum has towed this throughout Europe with no issues. The law in some countries can be different but in the UK towing like this is allowed and as her vehicle is UK registered she is legal to tow this in other countries. The manufacturer/fitter of the A-Frame provided a sheet which explains the law but she's never had any issues at all. So back to the car... Brilliant big panoramic glass roof including blinds Air Conditioning Electric front windows Five doors with hatchback boot Useful sliding back seats to give the option of a larger boot space or larger seating area Radio/CD 5 Speed Manual Gearbox Air bags for driver and passenger (can be turned off for children) Alloy wheels, Tyres all have lots of tread, Skinny spare wheel in good order Supplied with owners manuals, remote locking key and various service history/receipts. The car has been serviced locally and some receipts are available. It's recently had new rear brake pads, handbrake cable etc. I've kept on top of the fluid levels for her etc but the service lights is on so the new owner may want to get this done or just get the light reset, Metallic silver body panels are plastic so no corrosion worries! There is the odd mark as to be expected of any used car but please study the pictures.
