Vintage Mid-Century c1940’s “Smiths Enfield” Oak Cased Chiming Mantel Clock. This is a v intage mid-century c1940’s “Smiths Enfield” chiming mantel clock . This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful dome topped oak body with protruding feet . The oak has a dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with raised brass coloured numerals and gold coloured hands. The face is protected by a convex glass door with a brass bezel.  The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and also in excellent condition.  This chimes (on a coil) on the hour (chiming the numbers of hours) and on the half hour (once). This comes complete with its pendulum and key. The clock was cleaned and serviced on the 10th January 2024.
