Item:253786873345For sale is a beautifully made in England, Cricklewood and mechanically sound and fully working Smiths SecTric huge electric Wall Clock and dates from between 1931 -1955.. This clock was bought about 30 years ago and was apparently used by British Rail as a waiting room clock in Glasgow Central Rail Station. This clock has been tested and fully works and a new wiring block has been attached on the back of the clock to allow it to be wired directly into the mains and needs to be wired by an electrician. The clock has 12 sides with the clock setting mechanism is at the bottom and this knob turns and adjusts the time. The clock has been nicely painted green and looks to be possibly brown bakelite in colour. The clock measures across the back 392 mm or 15 3/8 inch across the flats sections of the clock body. The clock measures 315 mm, so in Inch this is 12 3/8 inch across the chrome ring on the face of the clock. The depth of the clock is 90 mm or 3 1/2 inch, so all in all a very large clock. Some of the photographs look a bit foggy however, the clock is bright in colour and clear The clock weighs 2.85 Kilo's without packaging so this will be reflected in the packaging costs.Condition:Used, Company/ Era/ Region:British Rail (1948-1997), Country/Region of Manufacture:United Kingdom, Type:Clock
