Seller: stevejankowitz (1,346) 99%, Location: West Palm Beach, Florida, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 113941367377 Sterling Silver (925) cased carriage clock with the case hallmarked for Birmingham, UK 1900 by the Douglas Clock Co. in excellent condition, especially for its age, with a few very minor and shallow dings. It was runiing but stopped and I caannot get it going again, not sure what is wrong and I do not have access to a competent clock repairer. It comes with a double ended key for winding and setting the hands. The fine French circular movement is not marked. Even the case back which is gilded on the outside is sterling silver and needs to be removed to wind and set the hands. It fits on the back really well. It is 3 1/2 inches tall with its claw feet and 5 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches from front to back. The case is well made with a beautiful decoration and is thick silver weighing a combined 14 ounces with the movement. The dial appears perfect with no cracks or hairlines that I can see. The crystal is also in excellent condition. A really nice clock but not working. Condition: Used
