This is a stunning quality original signed & stamped 'Maple & Co' Edwardian Rosewood Marquetry Inlaid Library Desk which is embellished with beautiful and elegant Satinwood Marquetry Inlay, together with 8 working drawers, 2 stationary compartments and the original gilt embossed tooled leather writing skiver.

All of the fabulous embossed gilt brass handles are original, and so too is the central brass drawer lock (minus a key)

The whole is raised upon 8 slender & tapering square inlaid legs, terminating in 8 elegant solid brass casters.

The piece is in an overall exceptional original condition throughout, showing very little signs of use.

The only minor cosmetic imperfection is a single leather cup stain on  the right side of the leather writing skiver.
