genuine Mercedes mount between carburetor and intake manifold was also
fitted, plus the brakes serviced, new headlight bulb and rear number
plate illumination fixed, heater blower works in each
position now (dashboard out job £300), tyres filled with Nitrogen, never loosing air, new
boot rubber seal, a couple of new Relays etc., wiper motor reconditioned, it also received new gearbox fluid, new belts, and 4 new spark plugs. Amazing looking Show car, no rust or scratches ! Beautiful interior with excellent real Leather seats (very
rare on this model, most have cloth or fake Leather called MB-tex) and
excellent interior door trims, even the dashboard is crack free. Tires very good too, 2 Good Year and 2 Firestone with 60 - 90 % tread, no damage or cracks. The car passed MOT at the 29.05.2017 with 0 advisories, and done only 500 mls since, and is now MOT exempt since May Electric
sunroof doesnt work currently, but can be opened from
the boot manually with a very large screwdriver. Radio needs connecting, Central locking only works when it feels like. I drove the car 350 mls motorway earlier this year, no oil consumption recorded at all, and
excellent oil pressure ! 2 months ago the car was last used and been garaged since as too difficult to get it out (too many other cars in the way) Auto
gearbox performs excellent too and is very smooth, and quiet, rear axle
/ differential and wheel bearings are also all perfectly quiet, rare
for vehicles this age...., test drive a few on the motorway at 75 mph

windows, hence no horrible nightmares getting cooked on a nice summer
day when the electric window fails, or soaked when it doesnt go up any
more when it starts raining! All
dashboard gauges work perfectly, all the instrument illumination works
and is bright, amazingly even the lights in the glovebox and in the
ashtray work, as does the socket for Sat-nav / phone-charger, and
interior light. Dashboard is completely crack free, this is a genuine
low mileage car, contrary to lots of other Mercedes which claim
unbelievably low mls but have lots of welding done underneath. The MOT
tester was genuinely shocked when he saw how good the car underneath is. Check
my sellers feedback I sold 4 of my classic cars in the last 3 years on
EBay with very happy customers apart from 1 clown who left neutral
feedback because he thought he is buying a brand new vehicle for a fraction of the price when its 20 years old.
