This listing is for one rim soup bowl in the "R498" design. The bowl, which measures 10" in diameter, is from the Pompadour collection and was first introduced by Rosenthal - Continental in 1946. The pattern has since been discontinued. This pattern features a cream colored body with embossed light green décor/trim.

THE MAIN COURSE

You'll find this soup bowl to be in near-mint condition with only extremely minimal, nearly nonexistent, and infinitesimal surface wear. (If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I don't list an item as mint.) The decor is pristine and unblemished, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, the bowl is completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue. These soup bowls are in far better condition than what is typically considered to be "excellent" or "gently used".
