Item:3530795212451969 Triumph Vitesse Mk2 Convertible 2ltr Restoration Project I have decided to sell my Triumph Vitesse after owning it for 26 years. Its always been a ongoing project and whilst I got close to getting it done about 20 years ago with new carpets, many replacement panels including new original wings and floor panels, a respray and new hood, life took me down a path that meant it got dry stored for many years. I also found a couple of decent front seats a couple of years ago so I've fitted them (very hard to find, took me 20 years!) It also has a set of wire wheels that I found and fitted in the late 1990's, would look great chromed! Sadly time stands still for no man so I have decided its time to let a younger enthusiast or restoration company take it forward. I moved to the East Midlands 5 years ago from Sussex and again its been garaged but I had it re-comissioned last year so the brakes have had work, the clutch was done, the engine is very sweet and it starts and drives although it should be collected on a low loader/trailer as its not road worthy at present. I have the V5 in my name, the VIN number matches but the engine number is different so I assume it was changed many years ago, certainly not whilst I've had it. In summery, the bodywork is pretty solid, the engine runs sweetly and it starts and drives, the hood is fine. It needs tidying, a good respray, a mechanical overhaul, the electrics need work,(headlights don't work for example and battery light is on so not charging. Feel free to message me and if you need more photos let me know. Car is situated in Loughborough. You are welcomed to come and inspect it by appointment. Social distancing rules will be observed. £250 deposit within 24 hours via paypal and then cash on collection.
