Both vases are signed "Gustavsberg" and "LL". No cracks or chips. 15 cm (5.9 inch) high x 10 cm (3.9 inch) wide (6 cm / 2.4 inch at top).
The black incised over-all decoration of stripes and dots in red pottery is in contrast to the sober blue glazed edge at the top.
Lisa Larson (born 1931) is a Swedish ceramic designer and artist. Hired by the famous Stig Lindberg, she started at Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory as a designer in 1953. Many of her works are considered design classics and sought after by antique dealers and private collectors.
