Seller: diggerlee ✉️ (36,010) 99.9%, Location: Yorkshire, GB, Ships to: WORLDWIDE, Item: 353699749290 Joseph Heming 19thC Solid Oak Wood EMPTY Silver Communion Chest / Box + Key.   This is an empty lockable antique silver communion chest / box with a brass handle on one side. The interior is lined with red felt. Comes with its original key.  It has the original silversmiths makers label under the lid of Joseph Heming....see photos.  The box could do with being re-lined and used for some other use... and the oak needs a good polish and it will look 100% once again.  There are some scuffs and scratches on the surfaces. The interior felt is moth eaten and worn in places. There are some chips on the edges and corners. Please see pictures for more details and visual confirmation of condition. It measures approx. 13 and 1/2 inches x 10 and 1/2 inches x 6 and 1/2 inches. MAN CAVE box to put anything you want in.
