Item:372812038361This large double faced clock (2 single clocks back to back) was saved by myself when a company called Trico Folberth in Brentford Middlesex was demolished in the 1990's and relocated to Pontypool. I worked at this company and saw this clock every day which was hanging in the wiper arm assembly hall. I think the clock dates to the early 1950s. Photo 1 is fully assembled two faces, photo 2 and 3 are the individual clocks. I have serviced both mechanisms and fitted new glass and new rubber glass sealing rings. The clocks keep very good time, both are working well. The cases have some surface rust in places but could easily be cleaned off and repainted. I have just cleaned the dust off to maintain its originality. One of the bakerlite mechanism casings was cracked but has now been glued and is fine, please see the last photo . The faces of these clocks are still in very good original condition. The diameter of the whole clock is 24 inches, the face is approximately 18 inches. It would be nice to think that this clock would again be hung up and admired in its new premises A very rare and unusual Smiths Sectric electric double faced clock in good working order. Please see all photos. Happy to answer any questions. Thank you for lookingCondition:Used, Condition:VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION, Brand:Smiths, Age:Vintage, Type:Hanging or wall clock, Material:Metal
