Very very rare - only ever seen one other and that was in a different colour scheme! Reads no 226 on back.
Believed to have been made in China on behalf of Codeg UK. Very old 30s-50s period.
Was friction drive but this is broken - sometimes works so seems as if gears don’t always mesh - may be repairable.
Gun seems to be sprung and has two positions as pictured. I imagine originally the first position would’ve been straight down but has now moved up due to wear. “Flicking” the gun moves releases it into the raised position and pushing it down again latches it in the lower position.
Black “craquelure” base - front wheel appears to be twisted - could be fixed but in this position creates nice rocking effect as rank moves - maybe intentional?
Light surface rust all over but right hand side is like new.l
