You can save a lot of work and money  by replacing a damaged spring and therefore retaining your original  lock. You will struggle to find a new lock which has the handle spindle and key hole in the same position so you will end up doing carpentry and repainting to door.

If you have dismantled a faulty lock on one of your doors and found two pieces of metal strips inside the lock you have a broken spring that may be easily be replaced , piece the two pieces  together to determine the overall size and shape. If this is difficult it may be better to strip down another of your working locks (if it is the same type) to confirm the shape of the spring .

You are buying ONE  spring 

These are British made springs. Please note how well the springs have been formed with well defined bends at the Head loops this is mark of their Quality and will remain effective for years. Compare these with others on EBAY
