We always combine shipping charges so please wait until auction end and invoice is received before paying. Our items are mostly Victorian and are not new and there may be imperfections due to the age of the item which we try to show in the pictures. We try to describe our items as accurately as we see them but please remember that pictures say a 1000 words. We photograph from every angle possible. We ask take the time to look at the pictures before bidding on any of our items and never bid using a cell phone. If its not possible for you to look at the pictures then please do not bid. Our pictures are part of our description. Our items are all used, mostly Victorian and a few vintage. They have defects. Not the first item we sell is perfect.

This is our last week of auctions until after the Thanksgiving holiday. Up for auction is a silver plate Victorian epergne or vase. The glass insert may be Vaseline glass but I cant be sure. I rarely sell glass. The epergne is lovely and features a tree with pine cones growing out of a rocky base. The glass insert is clear and made of thick glass. There are no chips or cracks and overall it is in fantastic condition. The base of the epergne is also in good condition. There may have been another leaf on the base but it is impossible for me to tell. The leaves are almost gilt in color with excellent details and patina. There is no makers marks but we believe it is a Meriden Piece. We have another listing on now which is a Meriden epergne and the bases are almost identical on the underside. It stands about 10.5 inches tall, the base Alone stands 6,5 inches tall and the glass insert stands 6.5 inches tall. This is a fantastic gift for any one collecting epergnes.

We will supply additional information and pictures if the buyer requests such. We do not believe in Buyers or Sellers Remorse. If we sell an item for less than worth we will still ship as part of our agreement but if you purchase an item we expect you to live up to your part of the bargain. Please ask questions.
