Item:323995382438I have recently purchased a huge estate of silver and silver plated items which I will be listing over the next 6-8 weeks . There are hundreds of items of all types ,all will be listed with no reserve save for ebay and postage fees included in the starting price . Some of the items were being used weekly so are nice and shiny , many were packed away in storage and so are quite tarnished . This listing is for an unusual Victorain silver horseshoe shaped clock in it's original fitted case . The horseshoe is well modelled with textured ares as well as simulated silver nails to hold the horseshoe on . The white enamel dial is perfect with no cracks or discolourisation, there is also a smaller seconds dial between 5 & 7 on the hour dial , the gilt hands are also still present . The original fitted case is made of a green fabric and this is a little worn as one would expect . The clock movement is held in place at the back by a bronze or brass backing , I do not have a key or even know where it fits so cannot guarantee the clock is working . The clock is quite large at 3.5 inches / 8.2 cm tall and quite deep also , it is nice quality in the hand . There are a couple of minor dings around the outside edge but nothing untoward . The clock is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 by Drake & Co . A good clock for a collector or gift for someone into horse or hunting related items . Post is free to the UK & EU , rest of the world is £20Condition:good, Product:clock, Style:Victorian, Age:1850-1899, Composition:Sterling Silver
