Vintage GRAFLEX 2x3 Baby Speed Graphic Camera w/ 101mm Ektar Lens,3 Film Holders

Here's a Vintage Graflex Speed Graphic Medium Format 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch Ca mera---- not quite sure of the exact model--- I think it's a pre-war or wartime "baby" Graphic--- from the late 1930's or early 1940's.   Nice black & chrome Art Deco styling.  It has a 101mm f/4.5 Kodak Ektar lens in a Kodak Flash Shutter.

It's in Very Good Condition---  there are some areas of light wear and tear--- an assortment of nicks and scuffs to the metal and leather covering---  some usual general wear and tear, but not bad.  The various latches and mechanical functions seem to work as far as I can tell, but I have not extensively tested it.  The bellows is in Very Nice condition--- no damage that I can see, as well as the ground glass back is complete--- the wings of the hood are a bit tattered but they get the job done.  Everything that should be on the camera looks to be there. 

Overall it's in pretty good mechanical shape---   the lens glass is very clean--- clear all the way, but with some dust specs.  No fog or glue separation but there looks like a small water spot at the edge by the "101."     The front shutter mostly works--- all the speeds work, but the slowest ones 1/5, 1/2 & 1 sec stick--- the rest of them trip OK but I don't know how accurate they are.  The rear shutter actually works---- winds and fires at different speeds but no guarantees on the accuracy.  And the curtains look to be in pretty good condition when looking in from the front--- fairly smooth!  The lens aperture moves nicely, making a nice circle.  Beyond all that,  I have not tested it extensively, but I imagine it needs some TLC/overhaul to get to good working condition.  Also comes with three heavily used sheet film holders--- two Fidelity wood and one Film Pack Adapter---  with all darkslides there and in good working order.   So consider it all as a collectible or for parts or repair--- well used but mostly working condition---- but perhaps not perfectly---- It's OLD afterall.   And it LOOKS pretty nice too.   What you see is what you'll get--- the actual item for sale is pictured--- please check them all out.
