Cane Seat Sturdy.  Wonderful (Craftsman was very talented - very Professional) Handcrafted Doll, Bear (I used it for a Clown) Rocking Chair. I believe this chair was made in the '70's (I bought it 20+ years ago at a friend's Grandparents Estate Sale - her Grandpa was a woodworker & he made this chair). Approximate dimensions - 12.25" Tall at tallest point, 6" wide at widest point (front legs), 9" wide at side (bottom rockers), area where doll will sit is 3.75" at front, seating area - 4" wide, 4.5" back to front, 7" tall from back seating area to top of back rung. Photos 11 & 12 show a larger doll (15" tall, 5.5" wide at hips) displayed so you can see how a doll would look sitting in chair (DOLL NOT INCLUDED). Joints appear to be dovetailed, there is however some small square nails at several places (probably for stability), seat is caned. Thanks for Viewing!
