Lovely Vintage Canon super 8 video camera fully working.

This is a wonderful video camera

It takes 4 AA batteries and small alkaline batteries

Complete with , copied instructions and case

Their is a film inside but I have no idea if it is new or used so assumed used

I have tested the camera with 4AA and the camera triggers and the zoom all  work. The battery and film compartment all look clean

Focus and viewfinder all good

The case has a damaged tab which we glued back on see photo .

I have not tested the camera and i have bought the murcury batteries  but im not sure ive bought the correct ones?? i have left them in anyway.

 this camera has been well looked after. It has been in my family since the early 70s and has only been used probably about 5 holidays as that is how many reels we have from it.

right I have now tested this camera......ive had a look at it all now ive removed the old film but ive realised the mercury batterys are maybe not the correct ones as ive pressed the battery test underneath and it seems temperamental as only works when the batterys are in a certain postion. so it also seems the mercury batteys control the exposure needle too?? when I get connection on the batterys the needle definitely works on manual and auto. then onto the zoom that does not seem to be working which I believe should still work when no film in it. so everything working apart from zoom.
