This is a a ntique 1930’s German Ave Maria & Westminster chiming mantel clock . This has been converted from a mechanical mechanism to a battery operated mechanism. It is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful original 1930's Napoleon hat shaped oak body with decorative carvings to the plinth. The oak has a medium/dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, black coloured numerals and black coloured hands. The face is protected by a convex glass window with a chromed metal bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and also in excellent condition. This chimes on the hour (chiming the numbers of
