    Returns:

    Ready-Assembled Furniture:

    Ready-assembled furniture is not covered under the 30 day returns policy. Please ask as many questions as you want before committing to buy. Please also remember: making measurements is your responsibility, so we recommend you measure carefully, such as your door size to see if the item(s) can fit comfortably through, and also the area where the item(s) will be positioned once delivered.

     

    Wrong Item Delivered:

    If the wrong item has been delivered, we’ll accept full responsibility with apologies in advance. We’ll arrange to collect the wrong item free of charge, and have the correct item delivered on a priority service.

     

    Mattresses:

    Unless the mattress is faulty, once the original packaging has been removed, it cannot be returned for health and hygiene purposes. We strongly advise that you try the mattress on the bed with the packaging on first, and only remove the packaging once you’re happy with the product.

    Please also remember, we recommend testing mattress firmness by lying down on the mattress with your body weight evenly distributed, as opposed to testing by hand. It can take at least 4 to 8 weeks for your body to adjust and mould into your new mattress.

     

    Change of Mind:

    If you change your mind and decide to return your order, you may:

  • Ask us to arrange the collection at a cost to you (charge will vary dependant on product): this is the safest method as all liability is on us, or
  • Arrange it yourself, however you are liable for the return of the product: this must be unopened, in pristine condition and sent via a trackable service. Any damages incurred on route back to us will result in a refund less any re-working costs.

    Refunds:

    We work in accordance to the Consumer Rights Act, and we are given 14 days to complete a refund from the date we and the customer come to an agreement that a refund will be required. The refund will therefore be issued:

    Refunds are subject to the returns criteria being adhered to. Customer service is available Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 6pm.

    Delivery Information:

    Our ultimate aim is to provide customers with top quality furniture, at great value prices, delivery on time and in one piece! We will not be shouting about speedy next day delivery as we know from experience this only causes mishandling of product as warehouses and carriers try to rush an order through.

    On the other hand, we do want to get your order to you as quickly as possible and aim to do this in most cases within 1-2 working days, the exception will be 1.bespoke ready assembled furniture which is handmade and can take up to 4 weeks& 2. Orders that are 2-persons delivery which are booked in with the customer and take up to 5 working days (area dependent). And the most important bit of information…delivery is FREE!

    We deliver to most postal areas in the UK including Northern Ireland. However, geographical location and courier availability can restrict our service. We may not always be able to deliver certain products to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Man.

    To maximise our opportunities on successfully delivering your order without delay, we require a minimum of a mobile no and email address for contacting purposes. All our deliveries are UK mainland only (we will confirm on the product page if we cover elsewhere) from Monday to Friday between 7am and 9pm. We use a variety of delivery firms to meet our customers’ needs, to name a few; DPD, XDP, UPS, Tuffnells, Panther. Below we have split our delivery processes into 3 sections; Standard 1-person delivery, Standard 2-persons delivery, Premium 2-persons delivery and Ready assembled furniture delivery.

    Standard 1-person delivery process (in most cases):

    • FREE Standard delivery on all orders (surcharges will apply to restricted postcodes of the UK, see product page for more details or below for restricted postcodes list)
    • Before ordering anything please measure the floor space where the item will be housed. Please also measure your door space so the item can fit through (especially for assembled furniture).
    • We will confirm your order by email within 24 hours and detail the estimated number of working days it will take to complete your delivery– this is usually within 1-2 working days (restricted postcodes will take slightly longer usually within 2-5 working days).
    • Our courier / supplier may contact you to advise of a delivery date. This will be done either by text, email or phone call – depending upon what information was provided with the order.
    • All deliveries will be between the hours of 8.30am and 7pm unless otherwise stated on the product page.
    • On the day of delivery, you may be given an estimated time window via text or email. Failing this, you will be provided with a tracking no from ourselves via email, so you can track the progress of your order.
    • Not all drivers carry mobile phones so pre-calls before your order arrives is not part of this service and cannot be requested as a special arrangement. We can however provide details of the courier company and you can contact them for more information.
    • ALL deliveries are carried out by a uniformed person and this service is to your front door only. The driver is not insured to take this into a room of choice.

    Points to note:

    • In most cases if ordered before 12pm we can deliver this the next working day. For example; if you ordered on a Friday by 12pm then your delivery would be completed on Monday. Please note, nothing in life is ever guaranteed, anything can happen from the supplier failing to produce your order on time to the courier breaking down on the day of delivery, these we call unforeseen circumstances and we will endeavour to keep you informed.
    • High-value items will need to be signed for. We’ll send you an email explaining how to track your item, and letting you know when it will be delivered. Under extreme circumstances we will accept for goods to be left in a safe place, we will need confirmation in writing from you that you accept full responsibility if the order is lost or damaged.

    Ready assembled furniture:

    All our ready assembled furniture from the REDI FURNITURE brand is bespoke to what you want and handmade, in the UK of course! So this does take a little more time than our flat pack items but our aim is to get this to you as quickly as possible in pristine condition – usually within 4 weeks.

    Usual process:

    1. Most importantly we advise all customers to measure the floor space where the item will be housed. Please also measure your door space so the item(s) can fit through comfortably. All furniture is made to fit through standard sized doorways.
    2. Deliveries are carried out Monday to Sunday between 7am and 7.30pm
    3. First delivery attempt made within 4 weeks from receipt of order -approximately (in busier periods this could take an extra 2 weeks)
    4. Approximately 1 week before delivery a text or email will be sent to book in your delivery date, this will also confirm whether it is an AM or PM delivery
    5. Text and email message reminder 24 hours before delivery
    6. Customer contacted 1 hour before delivery (in most cases)
    7. Delivered to room of choice and packaging removed. If the driver fails / forgets to remove the packaging please remind them that this is part of the service. If you have any issues, contact us immediately on 01204 292655
    8. All handles and extra fittings assembled at time of delivery

    Returns Policy:

    We operate under the Consumer Contract Regulations of 2014 which replaced the Distance Selling Laws in 2013 (please see online for more detailshttps://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-contracts-regulations). Our aim is to provide you with the best quality products at the best price with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you decide to change your mind about your order and want to cancel it please try to notify us before the item is despatched (exclusions apply on made to order products). But if for any other reason apart from damages / faults you decide the product is not for you then please notify us within 14 days of receipt and we can arrange your return (this does not affect your statutory rights).

    All returns apart from damaged / faulty must be returned back to us in the original packaging, unopened and pristine – basically in the condition they arrived. Please return it in its original condition with proof of purchase and we'll exchange or refund it. Any returns received back not in the original condition the item was sent to you will result in a fair deduction off the refund.

    Alternatively, we can safely arrange your return saving you all the hassle, this will be subject to a minimum admin charge, please note these charges will differ by product type and we will endeavour to make this clear on the product page. For damaged / faulty orders this charge does not apply and will be collected free of charge.

    • Damaged / Faulty goods:

    In the unlikely event that your item(s) are damaged during transit please make sure that you fully inspect them before signing for the receipt of your delivery as the insurance covered on the item(s) ends after delivery has been made. In all circumstances we ask customers to take photos of the box if you suspect any damage, this will help with our investigation on whether it was carrier damage or a manufacturing fault. Contact us within 24 hours and we will request pictures of the damaged item(s) so we can quickly investigate the cause and get a replacement part out to you free of charge. We reserve all rights on our decision to replace either damaged / faulty parts or a complete unit once we have completed our investigations – all will be done free of charge.

    • Flat pack – Assembled:

    Please note all flat pack items that are assembled have been fully accepted by the customer and are not covered under our 30 day returns policy, unless a genuine fault has occurred after. Our carriers are not insured to carry such large items so we do advise to keep hold of the original packaging before commencing with assembly. It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange collection of any assembled items that need inspecting, if we do find a fault at the time of despatch then all charges will be refunded to the customer. If the item(s) returned show signs of incorrect assembly which in turn caused the fault / damage then the item will be returned back to the customer and a return / exchange will be refused – all charges will be at the customer’s expense.

    • Made to order / Bespoke (personalised) – Ready assembled:

    All made to order (ready assembled) are bespoke item(s) and are not covered under our 30 day returns policy. Please make sure you are 100% happy with your purchase, ask as many questions as you like before committing to a purchase, measure your door size so the item(s) fit through and measure the space where the item(s) will be placed once delivered. Failure to do this will result in all responsibility belonging to the customer and these items will be non-returnable. See damaged / faulty goods section for more information if you find any faults once delivered or any damages seen at the time of delivery. All bespoke items where they are personalised by the customer e.g. fabric and colour chosen specifically, then these are also non-returnable. Made to order items includes bedroom furniture, living room furniture, divan beds, tv beds, grandfather & grandmother clocks, wall & mantel clocks – all these will have made to order clearly stated on the product page.

    • The wrong item has been delivered:

    If it's our fault and you have received the wrong item(s) we will arrange collection free of charge and make the necessary arrangements for the correct item to be delivered as a priority.

    • Mattresses & Mattress Protectors:

    Please note that as with nearly all mattress retailers, these cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons if they have been removed from the original packaging.  (Unless faulty). We strongly advise that customers that buy mattresses try them on their beds with the packaging on them first, and only remove the packaging when you are completely sure that you are happy with the product.

    It takes time to get accustomed to anything new. In the case of a mattress, it’s somewhere around 30 days a.k.a ‘the break-in’ period so we ask you to be patient. Your body has been used to your old mattress for such a long time it will be a shock to the system when it lies on something new. Give it 40 days, from the time of delivery, to fully get used to the mattress.

    Below are what we do not class as a defect or fault:

        • Mattress didn’t suit or match customers’ expectations, this would be considered as a remorse reason for return
        • Comfort level not as expected
        • Indentations in the mattress: The components utilised will settle in use and could compress to varying degrees due to the weight and shape of the sleeper and may result in a body impression. There is no cause for alarm; this surface “settling” or compression is not a structural or design defect, but normal, Compression of upholstery materials of less than 4.5cm is within acceptable industry standards by FIRA (depending on the age of the mattress) and should not be considered a fault. Natural fillings will be subject to more settlement, and may result in patches of uneven wear and tear - this is classed as normal settlement
    • Refunds:

    A refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the goods back or 14 days after the day you provide proof of return. We work in accordance to the Consumer Contract Regulations and by law we have 14 days to complete a refund from the day we and the customer come to an agreement that a refund will be required. Refunds are subject to the returns criteria being adhered to.
