They are also extremely quiet in operation, with the shutter making a quite discreet click when it trips The Color-Skopar lens is a truly great lens, capable of extremely good, high-contrast, edge-to-edge sharp images. I have used many of these cameras, over the years, and the results have never disappointed All speeds work - from 1 second up to 1/300. The 1 second is maybe a tiny bit slow, but not enough to make any difference The self-timer is not working. They tend to gum up and stop working, after years of lack of use. I never use a self-timer, so it's never bothered me. To make the timer work again, you would need to access the shutter and flush the self-timer mechanism. It's quite a simple job really A note on operation . Needs a film to prime the shutter (test film included - throw away when finished). Drinks can is there to show that these are really quite small. If you've never handled one before, you'll be surprised by how a camera so small can be so heavy. We're keeping the Pepsi Max.
