Merci beaucoup!” The Yeaman Family, County Down, Northern Ireland “We have really enjoyed our stay at Le Clos. It was nice each day to know that you were returning to a really cosy and well equipped home-from-home. Its setting is perfect – extremely quiet but close to many interesting places and stunning countryside.” Mr and Mrs James, Essex “Although your website is excellent, we felt that the interior photos did not possibly do the house justice!” Mr and Mrs J., Colchester “Even nicer than we expected! So welcoming – thank you so much for “lending” us your house – would really love to come back some time.” The Orchard Family, Northamptonshire “Lovely peaceful house, very homely. Villedieu is a fantastic town. The zoo was great – our little boy had such fun on all the jumping things and the ball pit. Thank you for the welcoming home, we hope to return one day.” The Hart Family, London “Your home is beautiful – loads open in October. Enjoyed Abbaye de Lucerne. Plenty of local attractions.” Mr and Mrs G, Birmingham “As lovers of wildlife and countryside, a lovely rural setting – cows grazing, jays collecting acorns, red squirrel burying hazel nuts. Wild flowers still present in hedgerows alongside blackberries picked for dessert. All this along with an Indian summer – what more could you want!” Mr and Mrs L, Notts “A really beautiful and peaceful location! We loved eating outside in the evenings with just the sound of nature to accompany the sun set. A relaxing house with a really homely feel and very nicely furnished. We loved exploring the coast around Granville and the market in Villedieu.” Nik and Sam Seedhouse "This beautiful, recently renovated property provides all modern facilities in a traditional French style setting. The surrounding countryside provides a haven for wild flowers, animals and birds. Within ten minutes drive the local town offers a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops whilst nearby Granville offers an excellent beach, safe swimming, sports facilities and interesting places to explore." Linda and Alan Lygo A lovely cottage – lots of great touches. Villedieu was brilliant on market day! Our favourite beach was just north of Granville – Coudeville plage. CS, Kent Had an exceptional time and loved Le Clos! TC, Shropshire We are seriously thinking about coming back next year – thank you! AC, Surrey A beautiful home to stay in and a lovely part of the country to visit. Plenty to do and not enough time to fit it all in! GH, Worksop, Notts "A very enjoyable week in a spacious, warm and comfortable cottage. We enjoyed memorable days at Bayeux and Arromanches and the moules, camembert, crêpes and cidre were also impressive. Rona, aged 20 months, loved the zoo at Champrépus and the "moo cows" outside the house were an added bonus for her" The Brockington Family "A wonderfully secluded gite, set in quiet surroundings but within easy reach of all the main sights. Furnished to a good standard, ample cooking equipment provided. Little touches like soap and toilet rolls meant we didn't have to spend on basic essentials. We spent a very comfortable, relaxed week in the gite and were genuinely sorry to leave at the end, we had felt so at home. The two bathrooms and a downstairs toilet made it particularly suitable to our needs - two adult couples sharing a house! Admin. was very good and it was reassuring to be able to speak to you on the phone or by email as necessary". Mr and Mrs Mathews and Morris We had an excellent holiday and thank you for returning our deposit so quickly. AB, York "We have stayed in lots of gites over many years - this rates as one of the best!"
