Sow the seeds outdoors between February and October for the best results. Spring and Autumn provide the best conditions for sowing. Alternatively, the seeds can be sown in a greenhouse all year round. If overseeding into grass, it is best to sow during autumn when grass growth has slowed down. Suitable for use on a wide range of soil types.Flowers will grow between 30cm to 90cm.5g per square metre.Suitable for areas in the sun or shade.Regularly mix the seeds when sowing, as seeds will naturally separate due to variations in size and weight. Directions for use:1. Clear the area of weeds and other plants. Create a seed bed by raking the surface well ensuring there are no big clumps of soil.2. Sprinkle evenly across your chosen surface (some seeds are tiny and will fall to the bottom of the bag, so shake the bag before use and regularly mix whilst sowing)3. Next, ensure good ‘seed to soil’ contact by lightly raking to a depth of 0.5cm or by rolling the area.4. Water well and keep the seeds moist (they will need to be watered regularly in order to germinate)5. Cover the seeds to avoid them being spoiled or taken by birds6. After 4-8 weeks you will start to see them grow The plants will naturally die back over the winter. Let the plants run to seed, in autumn, then cut the area down using a strimmer or mower, leaving the cuttings for up to a week before clearing the area. This will allow them to dry and shed seeds back into the soil for next year. Every few years top up with more seeds. The process is much easier than cutting grass monthly and much better to look at. Use 5g per square metre (10 sq ft)1g of seeds is about 450 seeds. Seeds vary in size and weight. The Royal Horticultural Society, and its logo, are trade marks of The Royal Horticultural Society (Registered Charity No 222879/SC038262) and used under licence Condition: Fresh approved wild flower seeds, uses only native RHS approved British wildflowers for bees and butterflies.
