The Westminster chime originally known as the Cambridge Chime. The clock is in working condition. The movement is a double fusee bracket clock running for a weeks duration. The fusees have gut attachment to the barrels. The clock has a silvered dial , S Ward, Plymouth. The dial is in good clean condition. The dial is 8” in diameter , it has a convex dial, convex glass and a cast brass bezel. The clock has a strike silent lever to the top of the silvered dial. The mahogany case is in good condition , a small piece of veneer is missing on the front left edge and the case has a few minor scratches, in an antique condition.The clock strikes the quarters, but not the fourth quarter , but strikes the hour.The clock has five coils to the gong. The clock has a pull string repeat strike which works. The clock is 15” tall, 11” wide and 7” deep.The clock is very heavy and I will remove the gong and pack it separately.UK bidders only.
