This is a vintage plate from 1980 and is in good condition - no chips or cracks. Please see photos. This rare item was produced by Wheelbarrow Pottery Works in Cruckton, Shrewsbury.  The plate commemorates the Diamond Jubilee of the local Womens' Institute in Loton 1920 - 1980. The local group is still going, and last year would have been their centenary. I don't know what building is featured on the plate, some local knowledge of Loton is probably needed for that, but it certainly looks like a grand building. The plate measures 22cm x 14cm and has sloped sides. Height 2.5cm.
