The FED-Zarya camera is a Soviet scale camera, a simplified version of the FED-2 camera. It was produced in 1959-1961 by the Kharkov Industrial Machine-Building Association. The FED-Zarya camera has a metal case, with a removable back wall, through which the camera is also charged. The shutter cocking and film rewinding are adjusted by turning the crown, the shutter provides the following shutter speeds: 1/500, 1/250, 1/125, 1/50, 1/25 s and long. The model is designed with standard cassettes, but it is also possible to use two-cylinder cassettes with a sliding slot. This model does not have a rangefinder and self-timer, but there is an “X” sync contact with a sync speed of 1/25 s, a mount for a flash or a removable rangefinder.
