Seller: misswroe ✉️ (32,418) 99.7%, Location: london, London, GB, Ships to: WORLDWIDE, Item: 143230543119 antique Victorian daisy flower jet black pressed carved mourning brooch pin C842. antique Victorian daisy flower jet black pressed carved mourning brooch pin C842 possibly pressed horn, there are carved marks to the edges and this is a light weight warm to the touch piece,  my educated guess is pressed horn though the back is a little smoother than I would expect for a horn piece, there is some transparency to the thinnest areas of the design indicative of horn, the other possibility is an unknown composite, the Victorians experimented with many black and blackened substances for this type of piece and this one is a little unusual! and also a rather lovely design. size -    1.75 inches condition -  very good, small areas of collected dust in the details would benefit from a light polish WORLDWIDE combined shipping is FREE on subsequent items - you only pay once for postage!  (items must be paid for on the same invoice to qualify)
