Morris Minor 1000 2-door saloon, reg DRS315H, restoration project. RELISTED DUE TO A COMPLETE TIMEWASTER WHO COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO GET IN CONTACT, LET ALOE ACTUALLY PAY!!!!! Morris Minor 1000 2-door saloon in need of total restoration. This Moggie has been in the family for 10 years or more and although it was a runner when we first had it, it is now in desperate need of full restoration! As you can see from the pictures, it has been partially dismantled as it had been my intention to restore it myself. Sadly though, I have come to realise that I'm never going to get round to it, so it's time to pass it on to the next brave soul. Overall the step sills and floor pans are quite solid, requiring only localised repairs to the floor edges, but it will require more welding underneath (chassis legs, sills, near-side door hinge panel, etc) and of course a total respray. There's no doubt more things wrong with it, so please come along and see it before you bid! Will need to be collected on a trailer (it cannot be towed with an A-frame).
The seats have been removed, but do come with the car! Their colour is green and their condition is average apart from one of the front seats that is in poor condition (ripped back cover). The door cards and rear side panels are still attached; the rear side panels have speakers fitted. No carpets because the old ones were very worn and shabby, so they were consigned to the bin.
All of the screen and side window rubbers are perished and in need of replacing. The radiator panel and bumpers have been removed, but the radiator itself and the radiator grill were beyond saving and have been junked.More photos of the inside and the seats are available.
