Singer 9 Nine 1934 Special Project VSCC Hill Climb Classic Vintage Not Le Mans. Project car for sale. I was going to turn it into a Hill Climb Special but unfortunately ill health has got in the way. You get everything in the pictures (related to the car). It is now stripped to a chassis with the wheels and tyres off but we can put the rims back on to load it. The engine looks very good and is not seized; will need refreshing though as it's been stood - bores are ok. Lovely little overhead cam engine. The distributor/cap, starter, dynamo, original carb/manifolds are all with it. Gearbox is good and all gears select and the free wheel works. Chassis is solid but has surface rust. Rear tank mounts are about the worst bit but I wasn't using them anyway. There is a body which is knackered. The bulkhead/scuttle and bonnet are all saveable and the bumpers etc are there should you need them. All the bits I've taken off are with it. It has a clear engine and chassis number which the owners club have recognised and a dating certificate is available from them if you apply for it. You shouldn't have any trouble registering it once it's back together but that's down to you and the DVLA. May be VSCC legible as well if you want to go through that process. Collection is from York, North Yorkshire. This is not my home address and is 55 miles from here so I can't just pop out and measure anything although I do have some more pictures and the engine is here. Collection will need to be agreed at point of sale and at a given time/date. You will also need to bring help to lift the body as I can't lift anything at the moment. If you don't want the body I can dispose of it separately. Cash on collection only. Non refundable 10% Deposit by PayPal within 12 hours of sale or it goes back on. Balance in cash on collection.
