Published by New English Library in 1986, this is a UK hardback first edition, first impression of 'The Bachman Books', four early novels by Stephen King writing under the pseudonym Richard Bachman. True NEL first printing, NOT the much more common book club edition. The dust-jacket is not price-clipped (£10.95 net in UK) and is in very good condition.  There is some light creasing to the head and tail of the spine and some edges. Fading to the author's name on the spine and some light foxing to the top of the jacket flaps, but overall it's a very nice example (see pics). The black boards are in very good condition with the gold gilt titles on the spine sharp and bright. There are no inscriptions and the pages are clean and tight throughout with the usual age toning to the text block. There is some scattered light foxing to the head of the text block and, to a lesser extent, the bottom of the text block (see pics). Overall, this is a very collectable copy of an early Stephen King UK first edition which is very hard to find. I can only find one other copy currently listed on the internet at £200. Offers welcome.
